Water Resources For Qld Australia – John Gibson for the Senate
Australia and Queensland are in extreme need of additional Water Storage Catchment Resoures and Infrastructure. Water storage should be the number one priority of the nation.
The nation should have a distinct 20, 50 and a 100 year plan for the building of water storage and distribution. Such a plans should integrate with a similar 20, 50 and 100 year plans for the production of food and fibre (Agriculture) throughout regional Australia.
If we don’t have these plans in place, instead of being the proposed food bowl of Asia we will end up being the basket case of Australia.
Despite some recent current government water initiatives the management of water resources is limited to the licensing, controlling and use of water, including the trading and selling of water rights according to the Water Report of 2011.
We will use our influence in the Senate to make Water Resources this the Nations number one Priority.
A vote for John Gibson for the Senate will be a vote to get our nations water needs right.
