Vote Suggestions – Voters 2016 Election VOTE 1 Gibson Qld
I believe that all Regional Areas of Queensland have been neglected by both the Upper House – The Senate and the Lower House – The House of Representatives.
Economic growth and development of Queensland has been almost entirely directed to SE Queensland by both State Government and the Federal Government. Despite the bulk of the Qld Economy being driven by the revenues of Industry outside the SE Area we see no notable plan for the rest of Queensland.
It is essential to finally have an Independent Senator, void of party political interference. The double dissolution has provided a spring board as the first opportunity for many years to fill 12 Senator vacancies from Qld.
Despite an expected swing to Independent Senators it will be hard to get any independents up because the majority of voters are from the south east making it almost impossible. I believe we could get two independents in if we use our below the line vote to select at least 10 Independents in order as suggested.
You need 12 selections below the line and by using the 10 selections it will give you the opportunity to use your other two as you please. I will use mine for Glen Lazarus (11) (who is really independent) party now in his own party. My other selection will go to (12) Matt Canavan the LNP Independent from Rockhampton. He is a fine Senator and could go a long way. I wouldn’t worry about Hanson and Lambie they are likely to each get a senate seat and won’t need our vote.
